THE DREAMERS_Because Of You

Group started in 1959 in the Bronx; Frank Cammarata (Lead) , John"Bud"Trancynger (Bass & Baritone),Bob Malara(1st Tenor),Luke Berardis(2nd Tenor& Baritone) and Don Canzano(Bass).


They auditioned for George Goldner with their original tune_Natalie. he liked the group and this recorded_Natalie/Teenage Vows Of Love.on the Goldner's label Goldisc Records in 1960.In late 1960 early 1961 the group have a local Hit with the B side a soundalike Dion & The Belmonts tune.

By 1962 the group signed with Cousins Records owened by Lou Cicchetti,in this time Berardis and Canzano left and joined the group Frank DiGiorgio later Frank Nicholas also joined the group( before The Dreamer's these two guys singing with The Meridians).
In October of this same year the group recorded for Cousins Records an old standart originally number one in 1951 by Tony Bennett_Because Of You.This record was reissued on the May label but died almost instantly for lack of promotion.the group finally disbanded in the late 1963.
